Captain Al Morris is a retired NC State Highway Patrol First Sergeant. He served the state as a Trooper since 1983 and retired in 2012 after 30 years of service.
Captain AL is a US Coast Guard Approved 6 passenger Captain. He is certified by the American Red Cross in CPR and First Responder First Aid. He is a native of North Carolina and has been saltwater fishing for more than 35 years. He is a member of the Southern Kingfish Association and has been a solid competitor on the circuit since 1996.
He and his Privateer have fished Kingfish Tournaments from Cape Hatteras NC. to Ft. Pierce Fl. to Biloxi, MS. See Resume at www.TeamSeaDragn.com.
Captain Al's fishing fleet consists of a 30 ft. center console Privateer Boat, a 14 ft. Wahoo and a 14 foot Bonita. The Privateer named Sea Drag'n is rigged with 2020 Mercury Outboard 225 HP engines. His home port is Atlantic Beach, NC where he currently resides.
Along with fishing, he coaches Morehead City Little League Teams, volunteers at St. Egbert Catholic School and St. Andrews Episcopal Church.
Captain Al's Charter service is set up to handle the first time angler or the most experienced hard core anglers. He has two first mates that are ready to join the charter if requested. He and his crew will provide the most enjoyable trip possible and cater to all your reasonable requests.
